On the banks of the Nile, three majestic towers stand out against the Cairo sky. BESIX designed and built the two office towers and erected the third: The Fairmont Hotel Tower.
BESIX designed and built the first two 142-metre-high towers. The 34 floors in each tower consist mainly of offices, with 8 floors of apartments also in one of them. Both rise from a shared three-storey podium containing a shopping centre, a six-screen cinema complex and a series of restaurants, and decorated with natural stone. Below that, a four-level basement offers 1,200 parking spaces.
The third tower is a prestigious 5-star hotel. The Fairmont Hotel rises up from the central atrium and galleries. Built by BESIX, it offers 700 rooms over 23 floors. On the roof, terraces with pools offer stunning views over the city and the river Nile, with the pyramids visible on the horizon. The façade, with its curtain walls and elegant, decorative precast GRC panels, also carries BESIX' signature, as does the aluminium and granite work.
